Our Story
In January 2014, Chris Long started Long Insurance. Long Insurance Group is a full service agency specializing in personal and commercial lines insurance. Through our partnership with Agents Alliance Services we have
access to over 80 different insurance carriers. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with the best, insurance protection for their insurance dollar.
Prior to starting LIG, in October 2012, Chris joined Allied as Vice President as Vice President, Business Development for the Southwest Region of the United States. While at Allied, Chris offered account receivable financing to mid-size businesses through the acquisition of new clients and managing existing business relationships.
Before joining Allied, Chris spent the past two years as Vice President, Business Banking for Bank of America. During his time with Bank of America, he was responsible for providing comprehensive financial solutions and business expertise for business owners by growing lending and deposit portfolios of the bank.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Chris served as Vice President for View Point Bank, Carrollton where he was responsible for leading a sales team to exceed bank goals while growing the portfolio of the bank. Chris began his banking career with Capital One Bank in 2005. During his tenure at Capital One, he excelled in his role as a Personal Banker that resulted in advancement to Vice President, Bank Manager.

Chris is a proud Red Raider from Texas Tech University and active member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis is Business. Since 2006, Chris has been on the committee for Ducks Unlimited and previously served as Treasurer in Dallas. Chris and his wife Carrie have two boys and currently reside in Prosper, Texas.
